CHALET APARTMENT ACHILLEA IN THE HEART OF SAINTE FOY

Occupying the ground floor of this beautiful, traditional Savoyard chalet, the apartment sleeps 6-8 guests and is decorated to in modern Alpine style throughout. It has its own secluded entrance, a few metres from the bottom of the nursery slope and large private secluded terrace directly facing Mont Pourri.

Stepping inside, there’s a cosy log fire at the heart of the property. Grab a good book or a drink and take your pick from two comfortable seating areas in the lounge. One is approximately 42m2 with large sofas and TV area, and the other a cosy 20m2 with leather armchairs and beanbags by the fire. There is a separate generously sized dining area opposite the kitchen and a kitchen stool bar for three, making the apartment ideal for families, and groups with children.

The open plan living area has two sets of double doors for access to a large private terrace, facing south/south west, offering stunning uninterrupted views of Mont Pourri and the infamous Grand Col couloirs. And of course, the bubbling eight place hot tub is also here ready and waiting for you. Sink in, relax and enjoy the amazing 240-degree vistas! At the end of the season, you can take full advantage of the sun loungers, parasol, and outdoor dining area.

The master double bedroom has an a king sized double bed and an ensuite shower with toilet and basin. The two further bedrooms share a large family bathroom and an ample drying space with ski and boot storage area. Bedroom 2 is a double room and bedroom 3 a twin – all bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes. Additional guests can be accommodated on the 2 double sofa beds in the living area, should they be required.

The apartment is very well-appointed, with Wi-Fi, Free Sat UK TV, a Denon state of the art sound system in the living area, high-quality furniture and fittings, including a generous kitchen with integrated appliances. These include a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Apartment Achillea comes with its own underground car parking space and operates on a Saturday – Saturday basis. Everything you could need for a fantastic stay in the mountains.

*Achillea is the name given to the beautiful high-altitude plants which surround Sainte Foy and takes its name from the Greek mythological figure Achilles who used the plant’s magical properties to heal the wounds of his soldiers. It is said to symbolize “Ever Lasting Love”!

Apartment Achillea is situated in the very centre of the Sainte Foy ski resort and is surrounded by its own garden on three sides. On the east side, you have immediate access to the underground car park and all the facilities of “Charmettes” with its two restaurants, three ski shops, a supermarket and delicatessen. Your morning baguette is a two minute walk away. On the north side, you have the apartment’s concealed private entrance which is located 50 metres from one of the resort’s two nursery slopes with a “magic carpet” ski lift taking you effortlessly up to the main Grand Plan chairlift. On the south and east sides you have the surrounding private garden areas with the nearest buildings some 50 to 100 metres away. The south side of the property offers stunning views of Mont Pourri, one of the highest mountains in the Haute Savoie, right across the valley from the large hot tub and outside dining/sunbathing terrace.
